There were many repeating moments in my life where I’d be crumpled up on my bedroom floor, hyperventilating due to an anxiety attack.

I was completely overwhelmed with my life, I wanted to make changes but I didn’t know how, or where to begin. I felt alone, afraid and uncomfortable. 

I knew there was another way to be in the world. Yet it kept falling back into the same pattern over and over again.

It was an honest and steady journey of coming back to myself. Yoga brought me back to the power of breath, and connection to my body. Counselling helped me make sense of it all.

I began taking one step at a time towards the life I wanted to be living. Anxiety attacks became less frequent, and I started to remember what feeling safe felt like in my body and life.

I know there are others out there, experiencing their own story of fear and defeat. I want to support, and remind them that there’s a way through.

I am a Wellness Counsellor and Life Skills coach through Rhodes Wellness College, as well as a certified 200hr yoga teacher with many hours of teaching and extended training, such as Prenatal Yoga. I am passionate about bridging the gap between the mind and body so we can feel more integrated and whole.
